Weddings and Civil Weddings
The Old Rose and Crown hotel, set in its stunning location is fast becoming one of the most popular wedding venues in the area, hosting more than 60 weddings during 2011. And we only ever cater for one wedding each day - so you will have exclusive use of the hotel.
We hold a licence for Civil Weddings and partnerships and have 2 banqueting suites available which hold between 45 and 140 guests. A dedicated wedding co-ordinator ensures that all the finer details are met from the early booking stages right through to the wedding day.
The grounds, gardens and water features of the Lickey Hills lend themselves as the perfect back drop for wedding photographs.
No weddings are the same and being a privately owned establishment the hotel is able to offer a tailor made wedding package around your exact requirements.
A typical wedding breakdown would be something like the following (2012 prices)
Civil Wedding ceremony at the hotel (on a Saturday) - £550
Welcome drink & toast during speeches for 60 guests - @£8.95 - total £537.00
4-Course wedding breakfast for 60 guests - @ £31.75 - total £1905.00
Evening buffet for 100 guests - @ £14.30 - total £1430
TOTAL SPEND FOR 60 DAYTIME AND 100 EVENING GUESTS £4422.00 (inclusive of vat)
